“Dividing the swing into its parts is like dissecting a cat. You'll have blood and guts and bones all over the place. But you won't have a cat.”  ~ Ernest Jones

Trying too hard?   Thinking too much?

It doesn't have to be that way.

If you find yourself getting in your own way when you play golf, Mindful Golf skills and methods, taught by Michael Turnbull, PGA Professional and Mindful Golf Pro, can show you that learning and playing golf don’t have to be difficult—in fact, learning golf should be a very natural thing. Try Mindful Golf  and escape the confusing world of checklists, technical jargon and all the shoulds and shouldn'ts which make up current golf instruction..

Golf is more art than science and it’s much more enjoyable when viewed that way.  It is a form of self-expression, like dancing or singing.

Why should golf be mindful?  Take a moment to consider these questions:
If you are having problems playing golf, why don’t you just try harder?

If you are new to golf, why does everyone tell you how hard it is?

Are your good shots a glimpse of your potential or just dumb luck?

What really makes golf so difficult?

And most importantly, how do you know when you do it right?

Mindful Golf emphasizes learning by doing, instead of thinking about doing. You won't have to memorize a series of movements, remember a lot of instructions or try really hard to do anything "right."  We'll explore, experiment and maybe have some adventure--three learning essentials which are generally absent from modern instruction.

Above all, we will answer the question, "How would you like to swing?"  What would feel natural and work best at this point in your development?

What are you doing while the music is playing?

…dancing and singing?

...or over-thinking, struggling and trying too hard?
